Kinematifest is a student initiative created for and by Webster University students. Our mission is to inspire and innovate Webster University students to grow as artists through motion pictures; To draw attention to rising filmmakers and animators; To give students a chance to present their work; To encourage dialogue with the community.

Webster’s Siggraph and Film Association came together to present the 48 Hour Film Jam! Students formed teams to create either an animated or live film over 48 hours based off a prompt and a prop. The entire event was student facilitated for Webster students to celebrate filmmaking and promote more collaborative projects!
