Hello!

My name is Laurel Kratz, I’m an animator and artist based in St. Louis! During my time at Webster University, I’ve found a passion for working with a team of talented people to accomplish one creative goal. I’ve coordinated 3 film festivals with teams of students and lead the Siggraph chapter at Webster. I’ve volunteered at a Cinema St. Louis animation summer camp to help young children learn the basics of animation. I strive to find ways to help others use animation and storytelling to the best of their ability. The passion for what I do is driven by animated features that shape me both when I was a child and now; the process of creating animation with hundreds of people is magical and inspiring. I would love to help you or your team accomplish your creative goals or facilitate any events!

Outside of work and drawing, I’m learning the piano and absolutely love spending time with animals. Mainly my grumpy old cat, Checkers.
